  using 2gigs of ram with 3gigs available?

  How do I get AE to recognize my 3gigs of ram instead of 2gigs(2047gigs exactly)? (PC, AE 6.5)

  This is a limitation of (32-bit) Windows. Applications can not access more than 2 GB RAM. Microsoft built a switch into Windows that you can enable that will bump the limit up to about 3.5 GB RAM. It’s not without risk, but I don’t think I’ve ever heard of people having a problem with it.
