I am about to begin creating a video presentation for my company and while I know how to use After Effects pretty well I have been asked aout the differences between this application and Flash. Since I do not know anything about Flash I was hoping someone could tell me how hard it would be to learn – already knowing the principles of After FX and how they compare.

In the end I will need to create a 3 minute presentation that loops. Does AFX have any built-in features that make the composition loop automatically upon output? (OR do you do that through the player you use with a repeat function?)

    Thanks in advance!

Yes, looping would be up to the player.

I’ve found that the hardest thing to get people to understand with Flash is the concept of key-framing, so if you’re good with AE you’ve already got that part down.

Thank you. So, do you think Flash would be pretty easy for me to learn? What about settings and output? Never a strong suit of mine…
