    Hey there!
I’m still a little new to AE.
I’d like to make a lighthouse beacon effect, which turns 360 degrees, and lights up a logo, when the beam passes by it. (https://www.wiseguide.dk)
I’ve tried several methods, but the beam gets kind of flat, when it turns outwards the camera, it doesn’t have the roundness i’d like. I’ve also tried with 3d layers.
It’s probably an easy task, but I just can’t figure it out 🙁
I’m willing to invest in a plugin, if that would make it easier.
If you remember the logo from Castle Rock Entertainment (https://www.lonestar-movie.com), you’ll know what i mean.
Any help will be much appreciated.

Maybe make two parts. One for the beam, one for the circle at the end. Parent the circle to the beam, rotate the beam, and orient the circle so it always faces the camera.
