  4 gigs of ram

  Does anyone know where I can read an article on how to get After Effects to use my 4 gigs of ram instead of just 2?

  Also, when I try to scrub through the timeline in After Effects, I just have one clip there and when I scroll through, the clip does not move until I stop moving the blue cursor in the timeline, is there a way around this?

  I have a dual core 3.0 ghz pentium with 4 gigs of ram, I think I should be able to scrub through real time.
