  John Dickinson’s Creating Animated Backgrounds

  Hello!

  I just downloaded John Dickinson’s Creating Animated Backgrounds and I seem to be having problems with it. Many of the compositions are only in black and white, and only a few are in colour like shown in his tutorial. Am I supposed to be doing anything to add colour to them? I tried adding a colour solid and using some blending modes, but it didn’t look anything like his tutorial pictures. Any help would be appreciated! 🙂

  I took a look at a couple of them and they were in full color.

  Are you sure that you have all 3 color channels active in the Com window and that you’re not looking a just one channel?

  Hi,

  Thanks for responding! I realized later that the reason it didn’t have any colour was because I didn’t have the CC Toner plug-in. I’ve coloured it another way using the hue/saturation effect and it works perfectly.
