I’ve got a horizontal filmstrip graphic that is about 2000 pixels wide and 100 pixels tall. I’ve created a comp with the graphic and several video clips inside my graphic to give the look of a filmstrip but with live clips instead of single frames. Here’s my question.

How do I get the filmstrip and the clips to move together as one unit (I want it to scroll across the screen horizontally)? I can keyframe the filmstrip, but the clips don’t move with it. It’s pretty challenging to keyframe each clip’s movement to match that of the filmstrip.

    Thanks.

    This should be the title.

I think I figured it out. I just make the film stip the parent of the video clips. When I move the film strip, all the clips move with it. VERY COOL. I like After Effects.:)
