  • Creating 3d look to a flat image

I’d like to be able to take a 2d logo, and give it a 3d look. I want to be able to fly a camera by, or pan it all the way around a logo & be able to see the side of what is now a flat image. I know how to move the camera around, but what do I need to do to get the image to look 3d? ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Lee

While you might be able to fake it (slightly) by duplicating layers and/or turning layers as the camera moves.
I don’t think you’ll be happy with the outcome. Invigorator is one of the best and easiest plug-ins to use for this. It comes bundled with the AE Pro.

Zaxwerks Invigorator will allow you to extrude your logo (give it 3-dimensional volume/depth).
