  Having problems with “opening soundmodule” (-2166) / windows xp

  i’m having the same problem as another user had, with AE, but I have a Windows XP system, sp2 included, with quick time 7.0.3 and I wasn’t able to find the reinstaler for windows… as Greg Neumayer adviced then.
  Any idea about how to solve that in my configuration?

  Try upping to QT 7.0.4. I’ve seen a few AE issues go away with that.
