HOW DID THEY DO THAT!!!!
Creatives, I am hoping that someone can break my davinci code for me today. I have been seeing this style of animation for ages now, where the camera zooms around with text flying by. Can this / or this done Affer Effects? by just animating the camera? I can see that trapcode echospace and other plugins are used. But im really only interested in the camera movement.

Please forgive me if this seems like a silly question. I would really appreciate any help on where i can learn how this is done. Does anyone know of any camera tricks for A.E?
This would really help me out with my job. Hope someone can point me in the right direction. There is the prize of that warm FUZZY feeling for helping someone in need. :O)

This looks like it was mainly done using AE’s 3D layers. Basically, create a series of interesting animations, turn on the 3D layer option and move through them with one of AE’s cameras. Text can be a 3d layer too.

how exactly do you start in the 3D manipulation of layers/space? (How do you get into 3D view?)

To get into 3D view, you must add a camera, and have at least one layer in 3D mode. There’s a check box on each layer, under a column with a picture of a box. When you check that, it will turn the layer 3D.
