  • Edit arri raw on a MacBook Pro late 2013

Hi there. I´m having troubles editing my arri raw footage on premiere cc. I have the footage on a usb3, but i also tried on my internal SSD (700mb read).

Only with the debayer on 1\4 resolution i have playback. But that is impossible because i can only see pixels.

So my question is that possible to edit arri raw natively or do i need to convert to pro res or something else?

did you use one of the arriraw presets that have been in Premiere since CS6 and in the CC version?
if you use the preset ( there is one for 1080 and one for full frame) the files just playback normally.

Yes i used the presets for the full frame. I even tried with a thunderbolt raid, thinking that was the slow speeds of the external usb3 drive or my internal.

But i had the same result, the playback lags a lot. Only at 1/4 of resolution i get a stable playback.

Do you have playback at full resolution with the arri raw files?
