Are there any tutorials on how to animate a solid along a path while also having the solid morph to the path. For instance if I wanted to make the look of elongated electrons flowing along a grid, when I have a curve I want the electron shape to curve with the path, not just change the direction of motion. I know there are stroke animation plug-ins that will do this, but unfortunately I can’t spend any money. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

When you put the electron layer on the path, turn on Auto-Orient so the layer will curve with the path and stay perpendicular to it. The electron layer can still be animated independently of the position changes and auto-orientation, but rotations will have to be tweaked if there are sharp curves.
