  edting After Effects preferences

  I am pretty sure there is a way to edit After Effects’ preferences text file.
  I would like to edit things like the mask color (to default to red)
  and Liquify effects brush pressure to default to 100%

  Anyone know where this file lives.
  Any tips on how to modify the settings I am looking to change?

  Ah, there you are.

  Go to (yourname):library:preferences. You’ll find the Adobe After Effects text file there.
