  Alien Transmission

  Ive got a composition of several layers that id like to make look like an alien / satellite tv transmission.

  Any suggestions on how to do this?

  I’ve seen a few tutorials on how to do the hologram effect as seen in Star Wars. Maybe these will get you started:

  Are you just trying to make a video screen appear in an alien fashion?

  If so, Google “alien fonts” or try dafont.com to get some unreadable languages. Then use a preset to animate them around the screen. Add some lines and curves using the mask tool and a personal favourite, use the Block Dissolve effect (with the wiggler) to create the impressive that our primitive monitors can’t cope with all the information being sent.
