Activity Forums Adobe After Effects plug-in?

  • Posted by Sten Brian on December 3, 2005 at 12:51 pm

    Hi!
I`m looking for a plug-in for after effects that simulates the look of the end of a roll of film that has been exposed to light. This makes the image dissolve into orange/red, almost like a burnt look. Does anybody know the name of this effect?

    Best regards,

    Sten

I know it’s part of the Magic Bullet suite.
I think The Foundry’s Tinderbox has something as well.
Also Boris Continuum has several film filters.

    unfortunately, each suite run $400-$550.

    Good Luck,

This thread Talks about camera flashes. But if you’re asking for just the burnt out look, use levels.

There was a tutorial for this using Photoshop and After Effects, and now I can’t find it. I think it was in pdf form.
