  • No audio on preview?

    Hi there,

Currently working through the Total Training series…and following along…for some reason though when I press space to do a ram preview I can’t hear the audio track preview…(even though on the Total Training video I can hear that I should be able to.)

When I select the individual track and press the “.” key on the number pad…the audio does preview…but not when I do the normal RAM preview..

Am I missing some setting? Or is this another issue maybe with my version of Quicktime?

    Thanks.

Press the Zero key on the numeric keypad to Ram Preview. Make sure the Play Audio button is activated in the Time Controls window.

You can also scrub audio by command-dragging (Mac) / control-dragging (Windows)through the Timeline window’s time ruler.

    Thanks Jim,

    That works great

Total Training guy kept mentioning “space” bar…but I must have misunderstood what he meant that was for.

Really appreciate your help…when you’ve got no one close by to ask..it’s amazing how some of the simplest things can be a big problem!

    Appreciate your time!

One of the disadvantages of videos and tutorials is that they can’t answer questions or explain things any other way than what’s been recorded.
