Canon 7D equipment for video
Hey there. I’ve had my Canon 7D for a while now and have only just realised the full extent of the add-ons which I think would really improve my videos.
If you could help me that would be great, just looking for advice on what is the best gear to get.
Audio: I already have a Rode Videomic but I know the AGC affects the audio if plugged in directly to the camera. So I was thinking about using a JuicedLink or a Beachtek and connecting my mic to that or instead use a H4n zoom.
Rig: there seem to be loads of these around now, I would quite like to build one but not too sure which parts I would need to make it robust. There are already some quite comprehensive ones around with matte box and follow focus among other components like a Lanparte one I was looking at but like all the rigs they seem to be quite pricy.
