  Best Wak-Around Lens for T3i

  I am a beginner with an 18-55 mm kit lens on a T3i. Overall it is alright for my purposes, but I would like a little more reach. I am considering an 18-135 mm because that will give me much more range and there are great white box deals out there (around $250). Can anyone recommend other economy zooms that provide better image quality for a similar price? I would love to buy a 24-105 f4L, but for my purposes I cannot justify the price, so please stick to $400 or less lenses. Thanks!

  Hi James – if you want more reach, you can get a brand new Tamron 18-270 for just over $400 at Amazon – a refurb would cost even less.
