Difference between ‘normal’ 600D footage and that same footage exported as a apple prores 442 format
Hi all,
its my first time here and i am new to edditing. I have a question which is, what is the best way to color grade you footage and what is the difference? For example i have one piece of footage, one normal .mov straight out of my canon 600d, the second is the same clip only first i exported it to apple prores 442 (hq).
Then i imported both in a sequence in premiere pro cs6. First off the ‘normal’ one, second the prores on. When i apply the same lut to both, the differences are realy big. The first 8 seconds is the normal footage, the second 8 seconds are the prores footage. You can see a big difference in both clips, color wise. Both with the same lut on them.
Any help/explenations for me?
Thanks in advance!link to the video:
