Reading camera settings off a video file
Posted by Odil Ruzaliev on October 30, 2012 at 5:54 amIs it possible to read camera settings (aperture, shutter speed, ISO, perhaps focus) off a video file shot with a DSLR?

October 30, 2012 at 6:50 pmThank you, but I just realized that Nikon D800 has no .THM files. The folder on the CIF card only has .MOV files.

November 13, 2012 at 4:01 pmOne other thing occurred to me…if you are using your camera as a USB card reader instead of taking the card out fo the camera and using an external card reader I’ve heard from other posters here on this forum that you may not see the additional files the camera produces.
Otherwise there are many programs that can display EXIF data…the Mac’s built-in Preview application is one for instance.
