I have used my 7d for timelapse many times before using the TC80N3.

I just recently purchased a 60d and to my surprise, the remote was not compatible with the 60d.

I’ve seen online that I can use the RS-60e3 with the 60d. Will this perform the same exact functions that I got out of my TC80N3? It was so easy to use.

    Thanks!

I have a two month mural painting time lapse going on now and I’m using the Magic Lantern firmware to control it. Works great.

Does the RS-60e3 allow automatic timelapse, or is it just for remote triggering of the shutter? I have a Canon T3i/600D, and I purchased on Amazon the Aputure Timer Remote Cord for, I believe, about $20. I’ve tested it (though, just a quick test) and it seems like a fantastic little rig. There are plenty of reviews online. You may want to check it out.
