I keep looking and reading, and they keep proliferating. Which one is best, specifically for timelapse moco but also for normal motion?

    Criteria:
    1. Smooth movement
    2. (related to #1) ability to handle the inevitable dirt and detritus which fall onto the rails/tracks.
    3. compatibility with moco motor/controller.
    4. strength
    5. weight (less is more)

I can’t try them all, but if you have tried one or several, I’d appreciate your opinion.

    Thanks.

I just saw a thread on this topic from last year. One user remarked that the Kessler’s belt contributed bumpiness. As I understand it, the belt is necessary for motion control (timelapse) work.

Is this something that should be of concern?
