Hey im new the dslr editing so i would like to have some advice before we start to edit in a week or so.
    I am using pp 5.0

I shot ALL my clips for a music video in 720p 50fps, because i could then use slomo’s when ever i wanted.
Most of the footage will be used for normal speed.

I just used the dslr preset from pp 720p 50ps. So ill be editing the 50p’s (no slomo). When i want to use slomo’s should i then just change it to 25p in the interpret settings? will that work? Is that correct? I dont need audio to synq.

    Output eventually should be 25p.

You should take the clip, duplicate it, and bring that into Cinema Tools and change the frame rate. Tutorial here: https://exposureroom.com/members/philipbloom/223ba8e8743e4319a4e34cdb44daa84d/

    Hope that helps!

In PP, you do not even have to do that much. Simply create a 25P timeline and adjust your clip using the “speed/duration” setting when you right click on it in the timeline. Set the speed to 50% and you are done.
I am a recent PP convertee and this is a lot better than conforming the clip.
