  Which are Las best video glasses Canon 7d?

  Hi

  Which are Las Best lenses for shooting video with my Canon 7d?

  The videos are TV commercials and corporate videos for companies.

  I have a lens Canon 28-135mm f3.5 / 5.6 and 18-55mm 3.5 / 5.6

  I was thinking of buying a Canon 50mm f1.8 by the light (okay?), But I recommend buying other?

  I think this question goes directly to the domains of teacher noah.

  Hi Jose,

  If by best you mean the very best quality but Canon branded look for ‘L’ series lenses. These will be the best optical quality Canon make, they’ll be more robust and have wider and constant aperture.

  The lenses you mention are not really Canon’s professional quality. They don’t have a wide aperture nor is it a constant aperture, ie as you zoom at the widest aperture the exposure will change on video.

  Naturally the ‘L’ series will cost considerably more.

  I’m using a 60D and have been recommended 3 lenses
  the Sigma APO 50-150mm, Tamron SP AF 17-50mm and Tokina 11-16mm, I’ve not actually had the funds to buy them all yet, but they are supposed to be great quality lenses and all have a constant f2.8 max aperture. I also have a couple of old Pentax K mount lenses which are very good and have a really smooth focus and zoom capability compared with even the canon pro lenses I have used.

  Thanks for your comments, I see prices for Las I propose lenses and decide what I will do.
