Activity Forums DSLR Video 60fps with GH-2?

    Can someone tell me how to set the GH-2 to shoot 60fps? The specs says it has it but all I can find on the actual camera menu is the “80%, 160%, 300%, etc mode. Thanks.

    Pages 105 & 126 in the manual. Creative Movie > Manual Movie Mode; Motion Picture > Rec Mode > AVCHD 720p; Motion Picture > Rec Quality > SH.

    You’d think they could just make it so you could go to a screen and click 720/60p. Anyways…I’m a bit technilogically impaired so forgive my next question but why doesn’t my 60fps footage play back in slow motion? I’m definitely shooting 60p now but it doesn’t playback in the camera in slow motion or in my editing software. What am I missing?

    You’ve got to put the 60p footage on a 24p timeline, then you’ll get 2.5x slomo.
