  Rapid Firing Guns: DSLR or Camcorder

  When filming shooters in the firing range making quick draws and shooting very rapid strings of fire (with real guns), is the DSLR the right choice given its rolling shutter problems? Or is the camcorder the right tool for this job?

  Rolling shutter wouldn’t effect this (only whip pans)

  60 fps handy. Some video cameras can do that do… but not many at 60p

  Right.
  If you can’t have a 1080p60, a 1080i60 would always be better than a 1080p30 to slow down.
  720p60 is a great option. Unless I would go to a BIG screen, 720p60 would be my choice.
