  • Freeze a frame of video

This feels like a bit of a “duh” question, but I just don’t see the solution. I need to freeze the final frame of some video and hold it for 3 sec beyond the actual end of the footage. My work-around was to render that last single frame and drop it in as a layer. It works, sorta’, but the images do not exactly match. Is there a simple smart way to do this?

    Thanks

So split the layer right where the final frame is, and then freeze frame it. Unless I got that wrong, it should work….

Wouldn’t splitting the layer be easier?
