Fractal Noise question
I am working on a background and have used the ramp and Fractal Noise effects, but when I render it, or do a ram preview, the footage looks as if it has not been rendered. I am going for a fluid look but no matter what i’ve tried it still looks stepped. any suggestions.

Are you saying the animation is not playing back smoothly?

Well if i put any other layer on, that layer plays fine. when the noise itself moves its like… how to explin it. its like the movement/growth of the noise is every 3 frames or something. so when its played back (after being rendered) it looks as though i’m watching a ram preview.

hmmm, can you email me the file with just the fractal noise layer? I’ll take a look at it right now and see if we can work this out.
