    kindly tell me if image sequence is better to track then .mov .mp4

    kindly tell me what is the best so i can get beter results.

    Hi Dave, I’m not I understand your explanation in the first sentence. I’m not a pro and use those programs as a hobby but try at least to learn to do it well.
    What do you mean by “An image sequence is much better than the mp4”.

    For instance I have the following shot: It is a long zoom from the middle of one of the streets of Pompeii. I intend to give the impression that the buildings on both sides of the street return to their original look before the Vesuvius eruption. For this I have still image (png) of the walls etc.My clip is a 20seconds mp4 with theses characterics:

    Do you mean that I should transform the clip into a sequence of 500+ single images? How do you that? The question may look silly but I don’t know the way tot do it. Thanks

    It is a simple export setting from AE. Yes it will create 500 (x) images per frame so make sure you have them going to a folder and not to your desktop which I have done more than once 🙂

    Then when you want to import the sequence into your editing program make you sure you have import image sequence box checked or you will only get one frame.
