Despite having a 256 Gb SSD devoted to disk cache, AE on start-up warns me that I am out of space when the drive is no more than 1/4 to 1/2 full. What gives?

    Thanks

The warning is not that you are out of space, but rather that you do not have enough space available to use as much as you have requested.

For example, if you have a 256 GB drive and have told Ae to use 200 GB of it for the cache, but there’s 80 GB of other stuff already on the drive, Ae will warn you. Note that caches from previous versions of Ae may be the culprits, soaking up some of this space.

Thanks Walter. But no, I only use this drive for AE cache and I installed it just a few moths ago so no older version AE should be cached there.
