February 23, 2010 at 4:35 pmThe only one I’ve seen is this: https://www.usa.canon.com/templatedata/pressrelease/20100208_t2i.html – I keep hearing it will release 24 Feb, but I haven’t seen anything official. All the reports say March 2010. So it may be available in a week or it could be a month. I’ve been looking, too. 😉

February 26, 2010 at 7:18 pmDavid,
Thanks for the heads up. Looks like I should have pre-ordered it. Amazon says to expect it from March 29th to April 20th. 🙁Check out my Motion Training DVD

February 26, 2010 at 8:41 pmDavid, you rock. I can’t find the camera any where online but because you made me aware of the release I was able to pick it up at a local store. I’ll play with it tonight. Thanks for letting me know that it has been released.

February 26, 2010 at 11:58 pmWow, I talked to Canon and the nice lady there said they may have been released, but not everyone has them and she wasn’t sure on the date. Only ONE store in Tucson has one. They’re closed already. 🙁

February 27, 2010 at 12:05 amYeah, isn’t that crazy. The first store I called they told me it was not even released yet. All of the online stores I looked at said the same thing. There is only one store that I know of in Utah that has them and luckily I called them.

February 27, 2010 at 12:15 amYeah, and in the video post someone else did, it was obviously from B&H which says one hasn’t been released and the other isn’t in stock. Well, I got my first rebel about 3 months after it was released so it won’t be a biggie if I wait, BUT I have 2 projects this month I would love to use it for. Who knows, maybe nobody else will clue in until I can snag the one in Tucson. Looks like Best Buy will have to wait until late March to get theirs according to their staff, though they put theirs in the inventory system on Feb 11.

February 27, 2010 at 12:15 amI’d thought I’d have to wait a while for being slow to act, but it seems a few camera shops have them. I just ordered a brand new one on ebay for the same price as Amazon and BH. Philip Bloom says I should have forgone the stock lens kit, oh well.

March 23, 2010 at 5:11 pmYeah, Best Buy had them in stock when I went on Sunday and I was able to purchase it. On bestbuy.com it says it is coming soon and you can pre-order it, so I was suprised it was in store for sale. This camera is awesome and well worth the money!
