    Hi All

When I import quicktime files created on Canon 5D Mk iii and 70D (both of which support timecode) CatDV Pro 10.0.9 consistently reads a different timecode than what Quicktime Player 7 or PPro CC recognize. I have tried all the usual suspect combinations in the prefs – DV timecode, QT timecode etc. but the tc is still hours off.

Is there any known issues with Canon DSLR tc and CatDV pro? Any work arounds?

    Thank you

For non-TC cameras CatDV can parse the start time from the .THM files.

Have you tried importing a file both with the THM in the same directory and then with it not in the directory? That’s the only thing I can think of that would sway it, if somehow the .THM data was conflicting.
