  CatDV – FCP Mapping

  Hi,
  This may be an easy answer but I’m new to CatDV.

  I’ve sorted my FCP mappings in CatDV… Is there a way Make FCP import this list as laid out in CavDV?
  For example… If in CatDV my mapping is laid out like this:

  FCP: CatDV:
  Name Name
  Bin Bin
  Reel Name Tape
  Log Notes Notes
  Description Description
  Scene Scene
  Shot/Take Shot Type
  Comment A Behaviour
  Comment B Season
  And so on…..

  Is there a way that I can arrange it so that when it’s imported into FCP, It is arranged as Description first then shot type, behaviour etc. As it is, I’m having to re-arrange it in FCP every time I import a new catalogue?

  Also, I rate clips using the star rating but when I import into FCP, in the rating column, it says ‘None’. how can I get CatDV to carry this star rating into FCP?
