    Excellent work guys.

One note to users, you might need to add the port number to your server setup to get this rolling.

ex: xx.ipa.ddr.ess:port# or something like 8.8.8.8:8085

Good tip Bryson, also look out soon for new builds as they make refinements for iOS7.

The team has worked hard on these apps and it shows!

Trying to get this to connect… so:

    Description – anything
    Host Name – 192.168.168.5:8080
    User – jack
    Password – xxxx

Correct? It’s not doing anything when I click to connect… (iOS7)

    Same thing here.

If I try 10.10.10.10:8080 I get the error message: “/api/2/session/” and if I try 10.10.10.10:8080/catdv2/ the app connects but just quits right afterwards.

On the CatDV server are you able to see the web client at this url?

    https://localhost:8080

    or “hostname”:8080

In the iOS app I have not had to use the port just he IP address on several machines so give that a try if you have not already.

I get the same “/api/2/session/” error when I try just the IP adress on the app.

On my CatDV server I have to type https://localhost:8080/catdv2 to get the to web version of CatDV. https://localhost:8080 just brings me to apache tomcat.

I’m currently running CatDV Server 6.7. Perhaps its only supported in 6.8?

localhost:8080 brings me to the default Tomcat home page on the catdv machine.

So far I am able to view clips, but I cannot get any of them to play. I just receive an error popup “there was an error whilst playing this clip” message. I would assume that has to do with proxy file format?
