  licence will not work

  We got a new MBP. 10.8 is preinatalled. I migrated some of the small programs and files from the old MBP like CAT DV 8.1. When 8.1 opens, and you enter the license code, it says its invalid.

  Will this work on mountain lion? Maybe a pref is screwed up or was copied from the old MBP? I tried to uninstall the app, but it does the same thing. Where is the license stored?

  One thing to try.

  If you are copying from an email or rtf or Word file, try saving the file as .txt to remove formatting.

  I used to keep all my licenses in .rtf files and they stopped working.

  See if a text file helps.
