  Transparency?

  I have two clips on the timeline, one above the other. When I move (Transform, Position X) the topmost clip to the left, the clip below is not showing – its just black to the right of the topmost clip, covering the clip below.

  How can I get transparency for the topmost clip outside its “space”?
