  Relinking audio incorrectly

  I’ve encountered this a few times with my team. When we open a project, it’s relinked the audio automatically but to the wrong source. Even when we close it without saving and try again it does the same thing. We make sure we’re connected to the proper drives. The only solution we’ve found is to manually go through each clip and relink it to the proper clip, but that takes a lot of work. We have the setting about automatically linking clips turned off, but we’re still having the problem.

  Audio linking is still an ongoing problem. I’m keen to use Fairlight more but at the moment I ask for an OMF or AAF and use my old Fairlight standalone software because it just works better.
