  Inputting timecode to place ins and outs

  Is it just me or is it not possible to open a clip in the viewer window and enter the timecode where you want to put your “in” mark and your “out” mark to then be able to drag your clip shorter, edited clip into the sequence.

  It’s just you probably. When you have the source or the program window selected you can input a timecode value and press enter to jump to that point in time. You can also use the plus or minus keys to add or subtract from the timecode.

  Thanks Tero! Page 381 and it won’t let you click and highlight, you have to Right Click and select “Copy Timecode”. Same process to paste the timecode.
