DaVinci Resolve 14 beta 9 now available
Hello all, we are pleased to release DaVinci Resolve 14 beta 9.
This is a no charge update for existing Studio customers and the download is available from the Blackmagic Design support web site. There is also a free version available at the same site.

This update includes:
Added support for single frame step on the Fairlight page using K+J and K+L keys
Added support for half-speed playback on the Fairlight page using JKL keys
Added support in the Fairlight page timeline for moving tracks up/down
Improved performance of viewer in the Fairlight page
Added a new column for audio codec in the Media Pool
Added support for up to 8 faders on 3rd Party Audio Control Surfaces using HUI protocol on Mac and Windows
Added selection support for the Fairlight Audio Accelerator with MADI and the Fairlight Audio Interface
Added support for nudge edits in Layered Audio Editing mode
Improved optimized playback for Sony Raw and CinemaDNG clips
Added a shortcut for Blackmagic Design’s Training resources in the Help menu
Addressed an issue where certain QuickTime clips at fractional frame rates would repeat frames
Addressed an issue where rendering a timeline track for a newly created projects would sometimes result in a crash
Addressed an issue where some interlaced AVC MXF clips would show image artefacts
Addressed an issue where the viewer would show artefacts when rendering some H.264 clips
Addressed an issue where saving a project during playback on the Fairlight page would cause a hang
Addressed an issue where overwriting a generated LUT would create a new LUT with the clip name appended again
Addressed an issue where applying the Advanced Stabilizer on a clip with a cross-dissolve would sometimes result in black frames
Addressed an issue where turning on ‘Create Smart Bin from Timeline’ in the User Preferences would not work
Addressed an issue where switching projects dynamically would reset audio track names
Addressed a crash when opening a collaboration project in read-only mode and performing actions on the Fairlight page
Addressed an issue where two users could load a non-collaborative project in write mode
Addressed an issue where dragging an audio clip to a new timeline track would not update the number of tracks available for rendering
Addressed a crash when enabling/disabling multiple AFX plugins on a single clip
Addressed an issue where the loop state was ignored during JKL playback
Addressed an issue where switching pages would sometimes close floating Media Pool bins
Addressed a crash when switching to a new project and hovering over the Media Pool filmstrip
Addressed an issue where turning on Layered Editing and trimming a clip would not work correctly
Addressed a crash when adding media to the take-selector in some timelines
Addressed an issue where the DaVinci Resolve Micro and Mini panel would not work due to firewall restrictions on Windows
Addressed a crash when a clip being previewed in the Media Pool is deleted on another machine in Collaboration mode
Addressed an issue where dragging a media on the viewer overlay to add to the timeline would not move the playhead
Addressed an issue where the DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panels showed different key highlight colors
Addressed an issue where the Aux mixer dialog would not refresh automatically when new Aux buses were added
Addressed an issue where applying Advanced Stabilization on a clip would cause power windows to behave incorrectly
Addressed a crash when enabling or disabling tracks and switching pages in Collaboration mode
Addressed an issue where changes to third party AFX would sometimes not be accurately reflected when saving a project
