Will any retiming effects in Final Cut Pro translate over to Resolve? I prefer to have a locked edit before grading. Perhaps it would be better to grade then retime in Final Cut later? Thank you in advance.

I have had no issues with basic speed change values. The only issue is that the shot comes in as a compound clip and to ‘decompose’ as Resolve calls it, I have to take off the speed change and then reapply it. The shot doesn’t have to be decomposed but if you grade and then decompose the grade disappears.

Speed ramping within a shot I haven’t yet struck so I can’t say how accurately they translate. Might be worth a test.
