  Random crashes

  Hi,
  I am experiencing an increasing amount of random crashes in resolve, mostly when applying “Generate optimised media”. Even when I try only to optimize single clips that are in the timeline. It freezes Resolve and demands a force reboot to get the system up again.

  I am kind of new to resolve in that I don’t know a good way to get rid of this kind of problems.
  I tried exporting and importing the project, deleting all timelines apart from the active one, but the problem is still there.

  Does anyone else know what is recommended in getting the project clean?

  I am running resolve 12.5.5 on a 2013 MacPro, 6core, 32GB RAM, D500 Graphics.
  Editing and grading XAVC-L 2160p25 footage from an FS7.
  Optimising to Prores422 HQ 1080p

  I discovered the cause: a broken D500 Graphics card.
  Luckily Apple replaced both free of charge, so now Resolve is running great again!
