    Hello!

I have my ProRes files in Davinci autosynced with my wav files from the sound guy. I want to do a consolidate of an edited timeline and here comes the problem. I only have the video files here, but not the audio files. Davinci doesnt consolidate because it is missing the audio. Is there a way to unlink in the mediapool? Unlinking in edit doesnt help.

    Thanks in advance

Make a duplicate of the timeline, then highlight the audio tracks only, un-link them from the picture tracks, and delete it. Now, consolidate this new video-only timeline. This should also work with Media Management, if you want to do it that way.

    Hi!

As I wrote, unlinking them and deleting doesnt do the trick. Davinci says that the Audiofiles are still missing because it has it stored in the metadata.

    thanks,

Found the problem. The unlinking had to be done in the media page in the audio section by clicking the link/unlink. Then the consolidate worked.

    Thanks for the input
