  • How to Add Logo to Video Clip

    Hi,
I am quite new to the world of DR and editing. I have been working on a project and need to add a logo through the whole of my video clip. I have searched the Internet for suggestions on how this can be done but thus far have not found much information to help me.
I am using DR 12.5 and running it on Windows 10.
Any help on this topic would be very great fully received.

There’s a few ways to do it. One would be to place the clip on the top-most video layer in the edit window and then use a composite mode to superimpose it on all the track layers below it.

It’s also theoretically possible to do this in the Data Burn-In window (though I’ve never tried it). And you could also do it as a Track matte, applying it as a Timeline grade.

I think method #1 is probably the best choice.

    Thank you Marc,
I will have a go at this, I have dropped my logo on top of the clip, cropped it then adjusted the position in the clip, reduced the opacity to make it transparent and this seems to work ok.

    Regards

    Neil
