    Hi guys,

I’m pretty new to combining C4D and AE but I’ve worked with both separately .
    Following issue:
I animated some stuff in C4D and just threw it into AE (just a few buildings popping up).
But the animation is previewed/rendered pretty weird in AE.
In C4D everything is alright tho.

Does someone know this issue and how to solve it?

    Best,

a little more specifics if possible? how are you animating the pop ups. Scale? modifiers? mograph?

Have you tried caching the animation? converting it to PLA?

In After Effects, in the Cineware plugin effect settings, try setting the Render Settings to Standard (Final).

Just a basic scale/position/rotation keyframed animation of different cubes.
When I scrub through the timeline the animation shows just strange poses of the keyed animation.

Sometimes it gets it right, sometimes not. – Can’t be more specific…

    Render setting is “Final”.

Are both softwares updated? Can’t think of anything else…

maybe if you can upload the file I can test it here.
