What’s the best solution to add 2.35:1 bars while editing in Resolve 12.5, without having to physically adding a photo file or something similar, anything built in that I’m missing?

    Cheers

    Chapter 26.
    Color Page Effects.
Blanking Controls: Output Sizing has a set of Blanking controls that you can use to add custom blanking to a clip or project. It is always placed last in the concatenation so color or contrast adjustments have no effect on the blanked area.

Under menu item ‘Timeline’ you’ll find output blanking. Just choose 2.35 in your case.

    Best,
