  Sony F5 RAW 2K DaVinci Workflow

  Hey everybody,

  My name is Miron and i’m visual effects artist and a DIT from Israel.

  I’m about to embark on a 60 day Tv show shoot that will be shot with

  the F5, using the AXS-R5 capturing RAW SQ, 2K, MXF

  I’m trying to figure out the best workflow for the Davinci resolve 11.

  The Job:

  1. Receive media from Camera Assistant

  2. Export Quicktime DNX36 for editorial (AVID)

  3. mp4 for upload

  My question:

  I’m concerned mostly about RAW and the pitfalls i might encounter,

  specifically RAW debayering issue.

  My davinci Camera RAW-Project Setting is configured as follow:

  Decode Quality:Full res-Resolve

  Play Quality:Full res-Resolve

  Decode Using:Camera Metadata

  Any tips you can share.
