    Just learning the software ….!

    I am grading material shot on a Canon MkIII which has been cut and output for me as an uncompressed Quicktime. The picture looks slightly pixilated, especially full screen. (The original is fine). I checked everything in project settings and the render settings in the Deliver room, just for good measure. I should be getting the best quality but it is still pixilated. So I also imported one of the original camera 1080 H264 files to compare. Same thing – slightly pixilated. Clearly I am missing something somewhere.

    Are you looking at the image on a broadcast monitor?

    Even for the web, you need an external monitor if you want to see an accurate image.

    Render out the video, and play it outside Resolve, full screen. It should be the same as your source footage.
