    Hey guys,

I’m new to resolve all together, but i can’t figure out how to remove what looks to be clipping warning colours over the footage which i am grading. Its not consistent either and only appears on some of the frames within the same shot.

I”ve seen this type of thing when editing raw images in photoshop, but that is easily switched off. The clipping warning colours are also exporting with the graded clip.

    See attached image.

    Computers specs are:

    Mac Pro
    10.7.5
2 x 2.4 GHz Quad Core Intel Xeon
    Memory: 16GB

Video card: ATI Radeon HD 5770

I have updated the CUAD to the latest version (as i saw recommended in a different post)

If anyone needs more info please let me know, and if you happen to know how to remove the ‘clipping’ colours then you will have made my day 🙂

    Thanks,

    Luke

I’m having the same issue — is there a way to turn the highlight clipping alerts off?

Very strange that it would render out with the final output file.

    hey Laurence,

I updated to mountain lion yesterday (10.8) and the issue seems to have vanished. From reading the below article it seems it wasn’t part of the functionality but a bug with the older operating system.

    $20 well spent.
