  QTDecoder

  Hi,

  I really want to get Resolve 9 to work with osX 10.6.8 and networkusers. I can´t go higher on the os because of Xsan running on 10.6.8.

  Resolve 9 looks to be working fine on 10.6.8 as admin user (or standard/network user after reboot) but why can´t it be a fix to the connecting to QTDecoder issue without the need of rebooting every time a new user log in? The huge changes is Resolve 9 makes it really worth trying to get it work, so that the students can learn the new interface instead of Resolve 8.

  Being a university I can´t do the xserve upgrade to 10.8 in the middle of a school year, and it is really sad that the students can´t use Resolve 9 without rebooting to get connected to the QTDecoder every time they want to work in Resolve 9. I would rather have them rebooting than to have them work in Resolve 8.

  Is it a script or something I can run to get past the QTDecoder connection error?

  I really hope there is some kind of workaround to use Resolve 9 on osx 10.6.8 without rebooting.

  i am still on 10.6.7 and everything runs smoothly… no need to reboot here…

  Also when you log in with an other user account on osx?
