  Lumma Matte?

  I have a picture that I want to put over a video. That picture should have a circle in it, which is cut around, a circle, through which the video must be visible. The circle has been cut around in Photoshop, but doesn’t appear transparent, but white. I know this effect was somehow done with Lumma Matte, but it doesn’t let me do it.

  Good thing you suggested a mask, a common inverted one did the trick.
