  Making a screen saver in CC 2015

  Hi there,

  I need to export a short clip as a screen saver for PC’s from After Effects. I currently have CC 2015 and i cant see any option to export a SWF file as seems to be the case. Please advise,

  Exporting to .swf from After Effects was removed a few years ago (CC2014 I believe). You can either install an older version of After Effects to convert it or use Flash.

  Ah okay. Is that the only format that a screensaver can be accepted in? I am working on a Mac so i can’t test this out on a PC.

  Here is a plugin that lets you export to a screen saver directly from After Effects or Premiere: https://aescripts.com/screen-saver-exporter/
